Padre Island Boogie Boarding Trip
August 30th
Depart LOAC at 0930am and return 05:00pm
We will be stopping in Corpus Christi, TX for lunch please bring enough funds to cover this.
Transportation, water, gatorade, sun block location and boogie boards will furnished, cost $20 per person
Please bring a change of cloths, rinse showers and dressing areas are available at the beach, 25 cents operates the showers please bring change.
Know your limits with the sun, there is shade at the beach.
FAMCamp
Got visitors arriving in an RV? Lackland has a FamCamp located on Foster Street behind the Fisher House. RV customers can take advantage of our laundry mat, cable television, and WiFi. The FamCamp is currently under construction. During construction, the temporary office will be located in the Zeppelin Camper next to bldg 2804. Please call 215-0404/671-5179 for more information.
Temporary Storage
If you have an oversized recreation vehicle ie; boat, camper, trailer, please register at the FamCamp 671-5179. Cost is $3.00 per day per vehicle.
Hunting and Fishing Licenses for Sale
Recreational hunting and fishing licenses and stamp endorsements are available at Lackland Outdoor Adventure Center. A valid fishing license with freshwater or saltwater stamp is required to take fish, mussels, clams, crayfish or other aquatic life in the public waters of Texas. A hunting license is required of any person, regardless of age, who hunts any animal, bird, frog or turtle in the state of Texas.
RV Storage
Open
24 hours a day/7 days a week. $168 per fiscal year or $60 per quarter.
40' slots are $75/qtr or $180/yr. Must have valid military/DoD ID card
stationed at Lackland AFB or retired military in local area to use lot.

Pavilion Reservations
Lackland Outdoor Adventure
Center Equipment Checkout, in Bldg.871 will take pavilion reservations
for 2006. Customers must fill out a reservation form in person. Payment
is due no later than five days before the function. Pavilions are available
at Lion, Stillman, Stapleton, and Upson parks - call 925-5532/5533 for details/reservations. The pavilion at the Lackland Training
Annex (next to the swimming pool) can be contacted by calling 925-5532/5533.
Adopt a Park Program
The Adopt a Park
Program is designed to keep the base parks clean and safe. Any group
of people can adopt a park. The program requires cleaning of the parks
a few times a year. Groups may want to perform minor maintenance as
well as add landscaping. Another function of the group is to participate
in the Park Watch Program to help keep parks safe and reduce vandalism.

Lackland Outdoor Adventure
Center is now ordering boat parts, RV parts, and accessories at below
retail cost. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required for every order
